method:
basic TAHINI
● Roast the sesame in a pan at medium intensity until it turns golden to brown. Stir the contents constantly or shake with a pan. This may take 4-7 minutes. As the sesame heats up to a high temperature, avoid pans with a Teflon or non-stick surface.
● Let the sesame partially cool down, just keep it warm to the touch.
● Mix roasted sesame in stages in a wider kitchen mixer or a food processor with a sharp blade. Pause a few times and mix the contents with a spatula.
● Add two tablespoons of olive and two tablespoons of sunflower oil. Blend until smooth.
● Transfer the contents to a jar and close with a lid. Tahini will get the final taste only after a few hours or the next day. Store it at room temperature and always remember to stir the whole jar thoroughly before use.

choco TAHINI
● Create a basic tahini. Then melt the chocolate in a container over steam and add maple syrup (4 tbsp) and olive oil (1 tbsp). Combine with the basic tahini.

honey TAHINI
● Prepare a basic tahini into which will finally add two tablespoons of good quality honey. Use honey with a stronger taste and more liquid.

chili TAHINI
● Make a basic tahini into which finally add a chopped chili pepper with a pinch of salt. Choose your favorite color and intensity.

TRY THIS: Basic tahini is an irreplaceable part of hummus, use it in dressings, sauces, as a spread, substitute for peanut butter or thickener. You will also appreciate the honey and chocolate version in the production of many desserts, the excellent taste in combination with yogurt, fruit and oatmeal. The spicy version will refresh cold starters, canapes, a barbecue or spread garlic toasts with it!
